Baby clothes

I have been experimenting with the brave new world of baby clothes.

I made up a vest in a nice tweed, using single crochet.

And then made another version in Tunsian crochet.

For a comparison, here's the two side by side:

I also worked up the cutest little fishing hat:



And an adorable sun dress with matching hat.



More Thread Crochet!

So I've been trying to expand my repertoire. Now including thread crochet Christmas ornaments!  These sell for about $5 each.


Also, I worked out a way of doing filet monogrammed doilies.


This was for a wedding present, and I've already received two orders for Christmas.

Filet Crochet

Filet Crochet is the art of using thread crochet to create a mesh with some cells filled to create a design.

So far, I've used it to make monogrammed coasters:


And a table runner:

The runner was stretched on a cork bulletin board with a hundred or so push-pins, one in every picot.
